Same Hot Club Nur Night - And an Added Bonus!

We at Club Nur feel very fortunate with the support that you all have shown us from DAY ONE. We're turning two years old and it's only getting better. So, we definitely feel that we have to turn around and spread some love in our community and around the world.

A few weeks ago, we had a great fundraiser for the No on Prop 8 campaign (I wonder how that turned out) raising just short of $7000. And this week, we're giving some love to our friends at IGLHRC (International Gay an Lesbian Human Rights Commission). This organization is very dear to us, as they are perhaps the only ones watching over our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters around the world, and making sure abuses against them are reported and brought to the attention of all human rights organizations. Somebody's gotta do it, and IGLHRC is doing it.

So, this Thursday, we've decided to give the proceeds from our door to help pay for the many great things that IGLHRC does. Anthony and Chris of MJ's have graciously donated a $100 tab for the raffle, and will keep the Happy Hour prices going til 11pm.

Everything will be the same. There is no special program other than a raffle with great prizes that include the MJ's $100 bar tab and a few iPod Shuffles (we hear).

So, come down, have yourself some fun (and maybe a Middle Eastern boy or two) and know that the cover charge you just paid will help someone around the globe somewhere.
