$7K Raised for "No on Prop 8"

We would like to thank MJ's, Stonewall Young Democrats, Los Angeles Democratic Party, the Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society, Odyssey Magazine, Mas the Middle Eastern Dancer, and the incredible Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence of Los Angeles.

More than 250 people had the funnest fundraiser with an open bar donated by Anthony Lopez and Chris Perry of MJ's Bar, great Middle Eastern food donated by Saco Sarkissian of Anoush Banquets in Glendale, great music by DJ Gevo, Club Nur's signature Hookah Bar, and raffle prizes of 2 iPod Shuffles donated by Armen Sarkissian of Prudential, one by Club Nur and 3 handmade couture bracelets made and donated by Jeff of Paice Fashion House.

The bottom line... we raised just short of $7,000 for the "No on Prop 8" Campaign.
